everything you need to thrive

Some think of themselves as a dog person . Some as a cat person . I have always been a dog person . I am part dog . Throughout my childhood there have been dogs in my life. My mom and dad would always shield me from the heartache of their passing , when I asked where is Penny and where is Fefe ? They would say {they went to live on the farm} with uncle Iggie and aunt Vera and cousin Peter . And we could visit them later this summer .

In the movie Robinson Crusoe The shipwrecked survivor had a dog that was his trusted companion . When the dog died of old age in the movie he was really hacked off about it . and I experienced a catharsis of emotion in that the passing of each of my companions gave me heartache too. Their loyalty and enthusiasm for your company shows them to be angels without wings .Each had individual personalities. Their joy in your arrival was , at times , hard to control. Just so happy to see you no matter how long you have been gone or how late you were often forced my prayer ,                                                                                                     “ DEAR GOD PLEASE MAKE ME THE MAN MY DOG THINKS I AM “

Sales Funnels

Check out my recent post on sales funnels and what I think about them. Are they still worth it?

My first car was a 1949 Chevrolet, Torpedo. Paid $50 for it . Today it cost more than that just to fill my tank . True story : I took an old phone out of mom’s store-room and glued it on the dash and drove around holding the phone to my ear ,like I was talking on the phone while driving . You bet I thought I was so cool ! Today everyone has a phone they are staring at that can do anything you can think of and it makes phone calls too. Today I can use that phone in my pocket and call my daughter in Florida and my sister in California from almost anywhere in the world . Be careful what you wish for , you just might get it .

There is a time in your life when everybody says” you have your whole life ahead of you” and at that time in your life it may be hard to see into the foggy distant future . Then there is a time in your life when you can look back and actually see all the blessings that have been bestowed upon you. I had parents that loved me and sacrificed for me . Not everybody does. In the early sixties , driving my ‘57’ Belair convertible I never even dreamed there would be a 2025. Now my children are bringing up families of their own and I am grandpa. Time only marches one way . So now I say let's build another empire . After all, time is on our side . RITE ?

I started where you are now...

And we could visit them later this summer .I had that wonderful example to employ with my children as it became necessary. These are the " good old days "
